About Us

Hi! I'm Dr. Christie H. Yi — a board-certified pediatrician, a mom, and someone who has spent over 20 years devoted to the care of children and their families. I earned my undergraduate degree in Political Science and Biology from the University of Chicago, completed my medical degree at SUNY Downstate, and trained in pediatrics at NYU-Bellevue.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of healthcare settings throughout New York and New Jersey — from large hospitals and urgent care centers to private practices, community clinics, and consulting and teaching roles. Each experience has deepened my belief in what true care really means: listening first, honoring every child’s individuality, and supporting families with warmth, patience, and heart.

I believe that every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and heard — and that every parent deserves support, knowledge, and confidence in their journey. Whether it’s easing a newborn parent’s concerns or navigating the transitions into adolescence, I’m here to walk alongside families at every stage of development.

Beyond the clinical setting, I’m also involved in medical education and quality improvement work, helping practices deliver better care and adopt systems that truly serve their patients. These efforts have made me a more thoughtful physician and partner in care.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy time with my family, finding joy in everyday moments, and always learning something new.
